No. 7 UPEI Panthers continue to disrupt the rankings by proving they are a force to be reckoned with in U SPORTS women’s rugby. After defeating the previously ranked StFX X-Women 32-5 in their season opener, the Panthers proved they belong amongst the nation’s best after taking down Acadia 38-5 and pushed the Axewomen out of the Top 10.  

No. 8 Carleton Ravens replace the Calgary Dinos in the ranks after a strong 15-0 performance on Saturday night against the Montreal Carabins. No. 9 McMaster Marauders and No. 10 StFX X-Women make their mark after home opener victories scoring 77-0 over the Laurier Golden Hawks and 58-0 over the Saint Mary’s Huskies, respectively.  

The top 6 teams remain unchanged with defending champions Queen’s Gaels retaining their No. 1 spot after a convincing 53-0 win over the Western Mustangs. The No. 2 UBC Thunderbirds earned their second straight victory with a dominant 41-0 win over the Calgary Dinos and No. 3 Laval Rouge et Or defeat the Concordia Stingers 78-0 where Rouge et Or's Marie-Pier Fauteux cleaned up with six tries and three conversions, responsible for 36 of the team's 78 points. 

No. 4 Ottawa Gee-Gees, No. 5 Guelph Gryphons and No. 6 Victoria Vikes all posted decisive wins over unranked teams last week.
