CIS/CCA 2014 Sportsmanship awards were handed out to third Jane DiCarlo of the University of PEI Panthers and third Evan Asmussen of the University of Alberta Golden Bears.

The 2014 National Coaching award were presented to Memorial University’s Jeff Thomas (men’s) and University of PEI’s Paul Smith (women’s).

The 2014 All-Canadian Second Team Women’s awards went to lead Ashley Nordin of Thompson Rivers University, second Lynn Kreviazuk of Carleton University, third Keely Brown of University of Alberta, and skip Carly Howard of Wilfrid Laurier.

The 2014 All-Canadian Second Team awards went to lead Brendan Ryan of University of Regina, second Daniel Grant of University of Manitoba, third Richard Krell of Wilfrid Laurier Golden University, and skip Matt Dunstone of University of Manitoba.

The 2014 All-Canadian First Team Men’s awards went to lead Landon Bucholz of  University of Alberta, second Brad Thiessen of University of Alberta, third Jim Coleman of University of Manitoba, and skip Aaron Squires of Wilfrid Laurier University.

The 2014 All-Canadian First Team Women’s awards were handed out to lead Deanna Caldwell of University of Toronto, second Taylor McDonald of University of Alberta, third Lauren Horton of Carleton University, and skip Kelsey Rocque of University of Alberta.

The CIS/CCA Curling Championships will be played today. Women's game has University of Alberta Pandas taking on the Carleton University Ravens at 1:30 p.m. CST. In the men's Final the University of Manitoba Bisons will be taking on the University of Alberta Golden Bears at 5:00 p.m CST.
