Nominees unveiled for 2022 Lois and Doug Mitchell U SPORTS Athletes of the Year Awards
The national voting campaign for the 2022 Lois and Doug Mitchell U SPORTS Athletes of the Year Awards Presented by Makadiff SPORTS, honouring the Athletes of the Year for the 2021-22 season has opened.
The awards are championed once again by His Honour Doug Mitchell and Her Honour, the Honourable Lois Mitchell. Their Honours Doug and Lois Mitchell, and members of the Canadian Athletic Foundation trustees – whose vote is combined with public balloting on USPORTS.ca to determine the winners.

Voting opens on May 16th and closes on May 21st at 11:59 p.m. PT, with results announced on May 25 at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT.
The eight finalists for the U SPORTS Male and Female Athletes of the Year were announced on Thursday, May 6th.
