Savannah Bauder was invincible in the Thunderbirds’ electrifying 96-0 victory over the Calgary Dinos on Sunday at home in Vancouver. The fourth-year arts student smashed her previous seasonal best score and contributed to 32 out of the 96 points on the scoreboard. Bauder counted three tries, seven conversions and a well-executed drop goal, the first drop goal in U SPORTS women’s rugby in recent memory. Her performance helped the Thunderbirds remain undefeated at 3-0 and No. 3 ranked in Canada.
