Championships Women’s Final 8

The Saskatchewan Huskies (16-2) moved up to the top spot in the U SPORTS women's basketball Top 10, following two victories (77-57 on Friday, 79-67 on Saturday) over the previously No. 7-ranked Alberta Pandas.

The Carleton Ravens (16-2) hold their No. 2 position, while the Queen's Gaels (17-1) and Winnipeg Wesmen (14-4) both move up one spot following two victories each this week.

The previously top-ranked Regina Cougars (15-3) slip down to No. 5, while the Acadia Axewomen (12-3) maintain their No. 6 position. Bishop’s (10-2) climbed two positions into No. 7 as did McMaster (14-4) who moved up to No. 8. The UFV Cascades (13-5) enter the Top 10 in the ninth spot after a weekend sweep, while the Ottawa Gee-Gees (15-4) slid down to No. 10.

This week there are two women’s basketball Top 10 matchups as top-ranked Saskatchewan hosts No. 9 UFV on Friday and Saturday in Saskatoon.
