Championships Men’s Final 8

The Carleton Ravens moved back up to No. 1 in the U SPORTS men’s basketball Top 10, after a win against the Ottawa Gee-Gees at the Capital Hoops Classic. Carleton (14-4) is spending its sixth time this season atop the table, and its 300th consecutive week in the Top 10, dating back to November 7, 2000.

There was plenty of movement in the Top 10 ranking this week, as the Queen’s Gaels (14-4) had the biggest drop of the week, at three spots down to No. 7.

Rounding out the rankings are the Victoria Vikes (15-3), moving down one spot to No. 2. Ottawa (15-4) remained at No. 3, while No. 4 Brock (15-3), No. 5 Alberta (13-5), No. 6 STFX (14-3), and No. 8 UBC (13-5) each moved up one spot from last week. Finally, the Manitoba Bisons (16-2) sit at No. 9, and Winnipeg (14-4) is at No. 10.

The next top 10 matchup is this Thursday as the No. 2 Vikes take on the No. 8 Thunderbirds.
