Cassidy Rhodes, UBC

 The rookie forward put up a 5-point week as the UBC Thunderbirds swept a pair of games against the Saskatchewan Huskies. Rhodes scored three goals and added a pair of assists in the contests. 

Rhodes and their Thunderbirds are on the road for a pair of games this week facing the Manitoba Bisons on Friday and Saturday in Winnipeg. 


Joseph Raaymakers, STFX

Raaymakerrs turned aside 75 of 78 shots faced last week, posting a 2-0 record en route to athlete of the week honours. Raaymakers made 42 saves in a 4-0 blanking of Moncton, before stopping 33 of the 36 shots he faced in a 4-3 overtime win over the UNB Reds. The third-year education student finished the week with a 1.50 goals against average and .962 save percentage. 

Raaymakers and the X-Men return to action tonight when they host the Dalhousie Tigers.
