The Huskies appear in the Vanier Cup for the second consecutive season and 11th time overall (3-7 record) after coming from behind to take down the STFX X-Men 39-16 this afternoon in Antigonish, NS to capture back-to-back Uteck Bowls.

The Rouge et Or overcame a 17-4 halftime deficit with 23 second half points to knock off the defending Vanier Cup champion Western Mustangs in the 2022 Mitchell Bowl. Laval will look to capture its record 11th Vanier Cup next Saturday in their 13th appearance (10-2 record) in the U SPORTS Final.

It will be the third meeting for the two universities in Canada’s university championship game, with Laval having won both previous meetings in 2004 and 2006.
