A late penalty kick sealed a second straight RSEQ Women's Rugby title for the Laval Rouge et Or on Saturday afternoon, thanks to an Alexina Tardif-Samson boot that won the championship for the Rouge et Or in the final minutes of play. The Rouge et Or defeated the Ottawa Gee-Gees 13-11 on home turf.

The U SPORTS Women's Rugby National Championship takes place November 2-6 at the University of Victoria. Both teams had clinched their championship spot before the RSEQ final.
