A special tailgate party will be taking place before the game on Thursday, November 7^th at 7pm, as well as for both bronze and gold medal games on Sunday, November 10^th.

*If the University of Montreal is also hosting the Dunsmore Cup, the consolation final will be taking place at 7:00pm on the same field.

Free tickets are provided to the non-participating nominees (including winners). We ask corresponding universities to confirm their nominee(s)’s attendance by contacting directly Mélanie Bourgeois by Monday, November 4^th, 2019.

If teams require additional tickets, they should enquire directly with Mélanie. The cost of those additional tickets will be $40.00.

Tickets will be provided to non-participating head coaches in attendance at a cost of $35.00.

Going to the Awards Hall

To go from the hotel to the Roger Gaudry Pavilion, please take the subway to Université de Montréal station and walk 4 minutes.

If you are driving to the Awards Hall with a team bus, participants will be dropped off at the gate and the bus can park at parking P31 across from 10 Pagnuelo Ave.

To go from the Banquet to CEPUSM, walk 8 minutes.

All participating teams and team personnel attending a U SPORTS Championship requiring accommodation must stay at the U SPORTS Championship designated host hotel.

IMPORTANT!
A total of 26 rooms per conference was blocked to host both teams at the preferred rate mentioned above. In order to benefit from this, it is crucial to book early.

Each team is responsible for contacting the hotel and booking their own room block. A credit card will be required to confirm booking.

We advise teams to book their room block as soon as possible, in order to facilitate the room repartition and ensure a better internal management.

Notes:

• Teams are committed to guarantee all their bookings, i.e. teams will have to pay for all the rooms booked, even if they have not been used.
• Booking is guaranteed until noon (12:00pm) the day following the first night of the initial booking.
• A $50 fee will be added to the individual account of any guest who had booked a room within the block but leaves the hotel before their scheduled departure date. To avoid this fee, please advise the hotel of any change of date before or upon arrival (at the latest).
• Tip and handling fees (return) for luggage: $6.00 + taxes per luggage.
• Suggested tip for daily housekeeping: $1.50/room/day
• Luggage storage fee: $2.00/person
• Indoor parking height limit: 6 feet
• Exclusive valet parking for hotel guests or self-service available at a cost.

TRAVEL TO THE CHAMPIONSHIP

Each university is free to choose the most appropriate transportation mode to the championship. If a team chooses to bus to Montreal, they will be able to park at the Tour bus/Coach Parking lot located at 220 rue Bridge, suite A, Montréal, QC, H3K 2C3 at a cost of $35/day. To make any necessary arrangements, please contact 514-861-1551 or busdeals@busdeals.com.

ON-SITE TRANSPORTATION

Transfers between hotel and venue (CEPSUM) will be done via STM (Montreal public transport network : http://stm.info/fr). It is highly recommended to take the subway to go around in Montreal.

The hotel subway station is located outside the building and is called “Bonaventure”. You can access it through an elevator in the lobby of the hotel. The CEPSUM subway station is located inside the building and is called “Édouard-Montpetit”. You can access the sport center’s locker rooms without having to step outside.

Travel time between the hotel and the championship venue takes approx. 35 minutes. Please make sure to plan accordingly.

Route: Go to Bonaventure subway station and take the orange line towards Côte-Vertu. Get off at Snowdon and take the blue line towards Saint-Michel until Édouard-Montpetit subway station. To go to CEPSUM, please follow the signs indicating the stadium as well as the championship signage.

A one-way ticket costs $3.50. You also have the possibility to purchase a 3-day pass (activated upon first use - $19.50) or a weekly pass (Monday to Sunday - $26.75).

RESTAURANTS & BARS AROUND CEPSUM

Most of the restaurants and bars around CEPSUM are located on Côte-des-Neiges street and surrounding area.

SUSTAINABILITY

In order to reduce the environmental impact of the event, residual materials will be sorted onsite. Please follow the instructions to make the appropriate choice: recycling, compost and trash will be available in three different waste disposal stations.

According to Université de Montréal’s policy, no plastic bottles can be sold on campus.

Please use public transports in order to reduce greenhouse gas emissions related to transportation.

WATER BOTTLES

Water bottles cannot be sold on campus. We kindly ask you to bring your own reusable bottle in order to fill it onsite.

Please note that your bottle will need to be empty to get on the premises. A fountain is available on 4^th floor of CEPSUM.

U SPORTS-branded water bottles will be sold onsite for $20.

ACCESS & PARKING

It is important to note that parking is difficult around CEPSUM. No parking spots have been reserved for spectators.

It is recommended to use public transports via the STM network. The closest subway station is Édouard-Montpetit on the blue line. CEPSUM is also accessible by bus – bus 51 stops in front of the stadium.

ACCESSIBILITY

The stadium is accessible for people living with disabilities. It is however required to make some arrangements, in order to be allowed to use the 4^th floor door giving access to the elevators.

Please note that the stands are not accessible for wheelchairs. A dedicated area is reserved under the scoreboard, for people in a wheelchair to be able to watch the games.

CONCESSIONS, WASHROOMS AND WATER FOUNTAINS

Onsite food concessions and beer bar will be open onsite at the following times:

• Thursday: 3:30pm-9:00pm
• Friday: 3:30pm-9:00pm
• Saturday: 11:00am-2:00pm* TBC depending on Dunsmore Cup
• Sunday: 10:30am-5:00pm

Spectators will have access to the stadium washrooms.

A water fountain is available for spectators on the 4^th floor.

The Carabins shop will be onsite for spectators to be able to purchase Carabins items.
