Championships Men’s Soccer

The Cape Breton Capers are the new team to beat in men’s soccer. The Capers claimed the No.1 spot after sweeping the Memorial Sea-Hawks back-to-back at King George V Park in St. John’s this past weekend.

No.3 Carleton Ravens and No. 5 Guelph Gryphons remain unchanged, but No. 2 York Lions gear up to face the Gryphons this Friday and Sunday for an OUA show out.

For the first time in Mount Royal men's soccer history, the No.4 Cougars defeated UBC 1-0 forcing the Thunderbirds out of the Top 10 followed by a clean sheet against Trinity Western on Sunday and bumping the Montreal Carabins to No. 7 after a 2-1 loss to UQAM.

No. 8 Laval Rouge et Or is displaced as the Ontario Tech Ridgebacks slammed through the rankings to land at No. 6, a five-position jump, following a 2-1 defeat of No. 10 TMU Bold. Similarly, No. 9 StFX X-Men join the ranks after a 4-1 striking spree against Mount Allison and a 3-0 Panthers shutout.
