1. What are your thoughts on representing Team Canada at a major international event, and most specifically at the 2019 FISU Winter Universiade?

I am so excited and honoured to be participating in such a huge event! I can’t wait to race my best and meet people from different sports and countries all over the world.

2. Is this the first time you have been selected to represent Canada on the international stage or at the Universiade? Current track record (national and/or international)?

This is my first international competition and will be my first time at Universiade. We don’t really do records in cross country skiing but last year I got a silver medal in the women’s university division at Ski Nationals in Thunder Bay.

3. What are you most looking forward to in Krasnoyarsk, Russia outside of the competition?

I’m really looking forward to sightseeing and learning more about the Russian culture since it’s not something that I really know a lot about. I also can’t wait to go watch other disciplines compete in their respective sports.

4. What are your personal and/or team goals for this Universiade?

I’m going to race my absolute hardest but also have the time of my life!

5. Do you have a nickname in your sport?

CamHamm.

6. What are you listening to right now / what is your pump-up music?

Dust – Belly (feat. French Montana); Decisions – KREAM (feat. Maia Wright); So Close – NOTD (feat. Georgie Ku); Nonstop - Drake

7. Current favorite TV show?

This Is Us.

8. What message would you like to share with Team Canada followers / the U SPORTS community?

I am so happy to be participating in the 2019 FISU Winter Universiade and I can’t wait to come back home to Canada to share all of my stories and experiences with all of you!
