U SPORTS, the national brand of university sports in Canada, would like to congratulate The Hon. Pascale St-Onge (Brome—Missisquoi) on being appointed the new Minister of Sport.
“On behalf of U SPORTS, our 56-member universities and our 14,000-plus student-athletes, I would like to thank Prime Minister Trudeau for recognizing the importance of sport by creating its own Ministry,” said U SPORTS Chief Executive Officer, Dick White. “We congratulate Mme. St-Onge on the appointment and look forward to working with her to building upon the legacy of previous federal cabinets to advance opportunities for student-athletes across Canada.”
