In even years, FISU organizes numerous World University Championships in various sports. These are stand-alone competitions, hosted by different cities on varying dates throughout the year.
Following evaluation of the global COVID-19 situation – including consultation with various Host Organizing Committees – FISU has made the difficult decision to cancel all World University Championship events in 2020.
