1. How did you get to your current position, and what do you enjoy most about our job?

I’ve been involved in sports for a long time. As a former swimming coach and manager of sports infrastructure, I have always worked closely or from afar in the sports world. My current position allows me to live my passion: support management for athletes.

2. Who has had the most influence on your career?

Alain Lefebvre, former swimming coach and current sports coordinator for Université de Montréal.

3. What is your greatest sporting moment or achievement?

The FINA world championships in 2015.

4. How would you define a UQTR student-athlete?

Patriote student-athletes are passionate individuals who achieve their sporting and academic goals through determination. They’re models of excellence for our university and society.

5. What does success look like for the UQTR athletics program?

Program success translates into student-athlete pride and the spirit of belonging that the academic community feels towards their teams and athletes. A good university sports program involves optimal sports, academia, health and fitness coaching in adequate facilities, and funding.

Usain Bolt – impressive athlete. I would discuss his career, his successes and obstacles, and doping in sports.
