Women's Rugby
This weekend, the University of Ottawa will be hosting the U SPORTS Rugby Championship semifinals and finals, after an exciting round of quarterfinal action took place on Wednesday.
Guelph vs. Laval
Friday, 5:00 p.m. ET/ 2:00 p.m. PT
After stunning the reigning national champion StFX X-Women with an authoritative 36-12 victory, the Guelph Gryphons will take on the RSEQ silver medalist Laval Rouge et Or.
Laval dispatched the UBC Thunderbirds 32-12 in their quarterfinal matchup.
Queen’s vs. Ottawa
Friday, 7:30pm ET/4:30pm PT
The Ottawa Gee-Gees take on the No.1-ranked Queen’s Gaels on home soil. Both teams cruised through their quarterfinal matchups. Ottawa defeated the Calgary Dinos 18-7, while the Gaels trounced the Acadia Axewomen 55-19.

The OUA champion Guelph Gryphons visit the CW Champion Victoria Vikes, in a best-of-three series to determine the who will become the 2019 U SPORTS Women’s Field Hockey Champion.
The Vikes are looking to defend their title on home field, after defeating the York Lions for the gold a season ago on the road. Guelph is looking to make history by securing their first championship in program history.
Men’s & Women’s Soccer
Conference championships are in full force this weekend for men’s and women’s soccer, which will determine the teams that qualify for the U SPORTS Championships, hosted by Montreal (men) and Victoria (women).
