Rewind Day 1: 15th Annual Shoot for the Cure

U SPORTS women’s basketball membership raised $156,388 as part of a campaign for the 15th annual Shoot for the Cure, surpassing the original goal of $100,000 for breast cancer awareness.

The total of $125,496 raised for the Canadian Cancer Society (CCS) and $30,892 earmarked for local and provincial organizations was the highest donation total since the campaign’s launch bringing the cumulative total to $1.75 Million since the initiative’s inauguration in 2007-08 to raise awareness and money to fight breast cancer.
