The Carleton Ravens remained No. 1 in the U SPORTS men’s basketball playoff rankings after a 97-84 OUA quarterfinal win against the Wilfrid Laurier Golden Hawks. Carleton (18-4, 1-0) is spending its eighth week atop the table this season. Only teams still participating in conference playoffs or qualified for the U SPORTS championship are eligible to be listed in the U SPORTS playoff rankings.

Queen’s (17-5, 2-0) and Windsor (16-6, 1-0) made the week's biggest move as they jumped four spots each to No. 5 and No. 6 after quarterfinal wins.

There was no movement among the top three teams as Victoria (17-3, 2-0) and Ottawa (17-5, 1-0) remain at No. 2 and No. 3. Newly crowned AUS champions STFX (17-3, 2-0) moved up one spot to No. 4.

Four teams leaped into the rankings, including No. 7 Winnipeg (15-5, 2-0), No. 8 UPEI (15-5, 1-1), No. 9 UQAM (10-6) and finally, No. 10 Bishop’s (8-8).

Playoffs continue this week as the No. 1 Ravens will host the No. 5 Gaels, and the No. 3 Gee-Gees will host the No. 6 Lancers in OUA semifinals on Wednesday. On Thursday, the RSEQ playoffs begin with semifinal matchups between the No. 9 UQAM and Concordia, while Laval will host the No. 10-ranked Gaiters.
