Madalyn Weinert of the Brock Badgers made history by scoring her 1000th career OUA point last weekend. Weinert had an explosive performance on Friday against the Lakehead Thunderwolves with 32 points, seven rebounds, three assists, five steals, and three blocks in a 63-41 win. Weinert followed Friday’s performance with another stellar statline on Saturday against the Thunderwolves again. This time, the St. Catharines local had herself a double-double in a close 77-72 win with 34 points and 10 rebounds, tacking on two assists, two steals, and two blocks to close out a winning weekend at Lakehead.

The Badgers look to keep the streak alive at home when they face Windsor and Western next weekend.

Keon Baker, Ontario Tech

Keon Baker of the Ontario Tech Ridgebacks had himself an electrifying weekend, securing two wins on the road. The Ridgebacks faced the Windsor Lancers on Friday, where Baker had an explosive 32 points, eight rebounds, and three steals in an 87-79 win over the Lancers. Saturday, Baker and the Ridgebacks walked out of London with an exciting 92-80 win over the Mustangs. The third year guard secured 17 points, five rebounds and seven steals to close out the weekend road trip.

The Ridgebacks are back in action this weekend defending home court against Waterloo and Laurier.
