UBC veteran distance runner Tyler Dozzi lead the T-Birds to their second straight Men's Cross-Country conference title after claiming the individual gold over the eight-kilometre course in a time of 23:55.1. The Terrace, B.C. native post the only sub-three minute per kilometre pace in the field of 82 competitors.
Led by fifth-year runner Kiana Gibson, the Thunderbirds defended their 2021 conference championship, marking UBC’s fourth consecutive Canada West banner. Gibson completed the eight-kilometre course in a time of 27:08.6, earning individual gold by a remarkable 23.8-second margin.
