A fourth-year environment and society student from Guelph, Ontario, Olivia Renaud was solid in net for the Marauders in the first OUA action of the season. Renaud is named U SPORTS field hockey player of the week for her outstanding performances on the weekend.
In Saturday's game in Hamilton, the senior made eight saves in the 1-0 shutout over Waterloo. On Sunday, McMaster once again faced the Warriors, this time on the road, and Renaud stood tall once again, making three saves on four shots in the 1-1 draw. The maroon and grey's goalie holds a 0.917 save percentage and was integral to the Marauders' 1-0-1 opening weekend record.
