Women’s Field Hockey Player of the Week: Madison Gaffney, Calgary

Madison Gaffney was a key factor in the Calgary Dinos' first conference win of any sort since 2011. On Sunday, Gaffney led the Dinos against Victoria, the four-time defending CW and U SPORTS champion, by scoring twice in regulation, including a pivotal goal in the 60th minute that forced a shootout. She later added a goal in the penalty shootout, leading the Dinos to the upset.
