The Huskies took down the UNB Reds 2-0 with goals coming in the first and second periods.

Saskatchewan drew first blood about eight minutes into the opening period when Kennedy Brown battled for the puck along the end boards and got a pass off to Kendra Zuchotzki, who connected on a beautiful one-timer that beat goaltender Kendra Woodland.

Late in the second period, Jasper Desmarais skated up the right side on a partial break and fired a quick wrist shot over the glove of Woodland at 14:08 for the insurance marker.

Camryn Drever recorded 17 saves for her second shutout of the tournament, while Woodland made 23 stops in the loss.
