Brandon Frattaroli, a 5-foot-11, 196-pound centre with the McGill men's hockey team, earned points on five of the eight goals scored by the Redbirds over two games last weekend.

The 22-year-old industrial relations sophomore registered a natural hat-trick, including the game-winner, in a 4-1 come-from-behind victory over second-place Ontario Tech in Montreal on Saturday. A day earlier, he scored once and assisted on another goal in a 5-4 overtime shootout loss at Carleton. The Redbirds earned three of a possible four points to move into sole possession of second place in the OUA East with an 8-3-3 record.

Frattaroli enrolled at McGill in 2021 after skating in the QMJHL with stints in Baie Comeau, Quebec and Gatineau.
