Maude Pépin gave a standout performance as she contributed to a pair of victories on the road for the Bishop’s Gaiters over the weekend. On Friday evening, the third year forward scored the game-winning goal in overtime, while also counting a goal and an assist earlier in the matchup, as Bishop’s upset Montréal 4-3 (OT). On Sunday afternoon, Pépin added another goal and assist to her record and was named one of the game’s three stars. Her performance not only has ranked her third overall for RSEQ scoring with seven points and has helped the Gaiters ascend to second place in the conference.
Kevin Gursoy contributed the majority of TMU's points scored during a pair of away games over the weekend. The third year forward started off his weekend campaign in Kingston, Ont. with four assists in a 6-3 victory over RMC. The next day, Gursoy made two successful shots as he scored the lone two goals for his team in a 7-2 defeat against Queen’s.
