With four tries and 13 converts for 46 points in Queen’s 96-3 road win over McMaster this Saturday, fourth-year back row Lizzy Gibson takes home U SPORTS women’s rugby player of the week and OUA athlete of the week honours.
Following Saturday’s performance, the arts and science major from Caledon, Ont., is now ranked third all-time on Queen’s women’s rugby scoring list behind Queen’s assistant coach, Lauren McEwen, and former teammate, Sophie de Goede.
