Fourth year centre Audrey Champagne played a pivotal role in the Laval Rouge et Or’s Women’s Rugby Championship victory.
Scoring five conversions and six penalty goals over three tournament games, Champagne scored 28 total points for the Rouge et Or.
In the final against the defending champions Queen’s Gaels, Champagne scored four penalty goals for 12 points in the 22-5 to help lift Laval to their second national banner in program history.
