The third-year TWU forward Makenna Dieterich is racking up the awards following a three-goal weekend. The Spartan Female Athlete of the Week and the Canada West women's soccer Player of the Week can now add U SPORTS women’s soccer player of the week to their list of accolades. 

Dieterich's weekend was highlighted by a two-goal performance in Friday's 3-1 victory over the Calgary Dinos followed by the Spartan’s lone goal in Saturday's 1-1 draw with the UNBC Timberwolves.
 
The Langley, B.C., native is ranked 13th in the conference's scoring leaderboards and third in TWU's scoring, with four goals through seven starts.

UNBC goalkeeper Daniel Zadravec has been named U SPORTS men’s soccer player of the week after shielding the Timberwolves' net from 20 goals over two games this past weekend.

The Canada West Soccer Players of the Week displayed incredible defence after making six saves on seven shots over the UBC Thunderbirds on Friday. The 6-foot-2 third-year business student defended all 14 shots faced to draw 0-0 with UBC in game two on Saturday.

The UNBC goalkeeper kept dangerous UBC scorers at bay to help the Timberwolves improve to 6-4-2 on the season, now nipping at the Thunderbirds' heels.
