Calgary’s De Jager and Bennett of Lethbridge named U SPORTS swimmers of the week

Emily De Jager along with the University of Calgary swim team hosted the annual Colleges Cup - Mountain this past Friday. The second-year freestyle specialist touched the wall first in the 200m (2:03.97) and the 400m freestyle (4:20.99).

The Dinos are back in the water on March 7-9 for the U SPORTS championships in Pointe-Claire, Que.

Tristan Bennett had an outstanding weekend at the Colleges Cup - Mountain in Calgary. The second year from Tokyo placed 1st in the 50m breaststroke with a time of 28.70, 2nd in the 200m freestyle and helped the Pronghorns grab a team win in the 200m medley relay.
