Mark Bujnowski swept the men’s throwing titles at the OUA championships this year to help the Gryphons earn their sixth consecutive sweep of the OUA banner. Bujnowski earned the first of two medals of the meet with an impressive 19.43 metre throw, 1.44m longer than the second-place throw. The Mount Brydges, Ontario, native then set a new meet record with an 18.53 metre shot put throw. With that event win, Bujnowski has won the OUA competition in shot put in all of his five years, as well as three consecutive wins in men’s weight throw.
