Geneviève Paquin of the Montréal Carabins won two gold medals at the Ravens Last Chance meet in Ottawa, the only multiple gold-medal winner in the women’s events. Paquin set a meet record with a time of 2:46.97 in the 1000 metres and ran the first leg on the Carabins’ winning 4x800 team.

The Carabins are back in action this week at the RSEQ championships on Friday and Saturday.

Immanuel Onyemah won two gold medals at the Ravens Last Chance meet in Ottawa last weekend. Onyemah won the 60m sprint in a meet-record time of 6.78 seconds, qualifying the fifth-year sprinter for the U SPORTS championship March 9-11 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The legal studies student also won gold in the 4x200 relay.

The Warriors head to Windsor this week for the OUA championships on Friday and Saturday.
