TORONTO / MONTREAL – U SPORTS announced Friday that it has partnered with Mikasa Canada as its Exclusive Volleyball Supplier for the next three years. As the Exclusive Volleyball Supplier of U SPORTS, Mikasa has reaffirmed its commitment to university sports in Canada and will provide match balls, as well as other prizing to the U SPORTS Men’s and Women’s Volleyball Championships.

“We are thrilled to announce the renewal of our dynamic partnership with Mikasa for the next three seasons of U SPORTS volleyball,” said Pierre Arsenault, CEO of U SPORTS. “Mikasa’s unwavering commitment to our student-athletes remains instrumental to elevating U SPORTS National Championships to the pinnacle of sport, while supplying our events with the international standard for competition. We look forward to their continued involvement on the court beginning this March.”

Mikasa has served as the official volleyball supplier of all Federation Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB) events since 1985, while also supplying all Olympic Games dating back to the sport’s debut in Tokyo in 1964.

The 2024 U SPORTS Volleyball Championships will be held Mar. 14-17, with the men competing at Queen’s University in Kingston and the women competing at McMaster University in Hamilton. In 2025, Brandon University will host the men’s championship and the women’s championship will take place at the University of Manitoba.
