From Sherwood Park, Alta., Alberta's Katie Mulkay showed her skill in the popular 67-kilogram category Friday and Saturday at the Huskie Dual and Huskies open at the Education Gym in Saskatoon.
Exhibiting strength and technical skill, the third-year education student took home gold while helping her Pandas to a first-place finish in the meet.

Calgary rookie Joseph DeMaio had an impressive showing over the weekend as he squared off against athletes from Alberta and Saskatchewan at the Huskie Dual and Huskies open.
DeMaio instantly proved his prowess as he took home gold in the 100-kilogram category Saturday after pinning his opponent in the duals action Friday.
The Dinos wrestler helped his team to a third-place finish.
