Saskatchewan tops Men’s Wrestling to open U SPORTS ranking
With 44 points, the Western Mustangs inch ahead of the McMaster Marauders (43 points) to claim No. 3 in Men’s Wrestling. Mustang Lukas Geske leads the 82kg weight class, while teammate Charlie Ortencio sits second in the 68 kg division. Five other Western athletes are among the nation’s Top 5 in their respective weight divisions. The Saskatchewan Huskies remain the team to beat with 49 points.
No. 9 York Lions and No. 10 Guelph Gryphons switched rankings while the rest of the Top 10 remained unchanged.
