The UNB Reds (men’s hockey), Saint Mary’s Huskies (women’s hockey) and Trinity Western Spartans (men’s and women’s volleyball) all remain at No. 1, as the conference playoffs are set to conclude this weekend. Seedings for all four U SPORTS Championships will be announced on Sunday.
The 2020 U SPORTS Final 8 Basketball Championships begin this week, with the Saskatchewan Huskies women and Carleton Ravens men named tournament favourites ahead of tip-off on Thursday and Friday in the nation’s capital. Livestreaming of the Final 8 in English is available for free worldwide on CBCSports.ca, CBC Gem, and the CBC Sports App for iOS and Android devices. French digital coverage of the basketball tournaments and the Track and Field Championships in both languages will be carried on USPORTS.LIVE.
For the second straight season, U SPORTS is using the ELO Rating System for the calculation of its weekly national rankings.
