The Queen’s Gaels (21-1,1-0) moved to the top of the U SPORTS women's basketball playoff rankings following a 71-66 OUA quarterfinal win against the Brock Badgers. Only teams still participating in conference playoffs or qualified for the U SPORTS championship are eligible to be listed in the U SPORTS playoff rankings.

The Carleton Ravens (19-3,1-0) advance one position to No. 2, while the middle of the table sees significant changes. No. 3 Alberta (15-5, 2-0) advances four positions, while No. 4 Bishop’s (14-2) advances two positions.

The Saint Mary's Huskies (15-5, 2-0) are the biggest movers of the week, entering the rankings at No.5. Advancing four positions into No. 6 are the Calgary Dinos (13-7, 2-0), meanwhile moving up two positions into No. 7 is McMaster (17-5,1-0). Rounding out and joining the rankings are No. 8 Waterloo (17-5,1-0), No. 9 UQAM (9-7), and No. 10 Laval (9-7).

Playoffs continue this week, and there are three ranking matchups. Wednesday’s OUA semifinals will see seventh-ranked McMaster travel to Ottawa to play second-ranked Carleton, while eighth-ranked Waterloo travels to Kingston to play top-ranked Queen’s. The weekend wraps up with third-ranked Alberta taking on No. 6 Calgary in the CW final on Saturday afternoon.
