Women’s Hockey Player of the Week: Jessymaude Drapeau, Concordia

  • Year of eligibility: 3rd  
  • Program: Psychology 

Jessymaude Drapeau, the third-year forward, led the Concordia Stingers a pair of wins over the past weekend. On Friday, she totaled one assist against the 8-2 win against Bishop’s. On Saturday, she exploded for five points, as she scored a hat trick and added two assists in a 6-2 win over Carleton. The Stingers continue to sit in first place in the RSEQ as they are now onto their 10th consecutive win this season.

Men’s Hockey Player of the Week: Jacob Hudson, STFX

  • Hometown: Antigonish, NS  
  • Year of eligibility: 3rd  
  • Program: Business Administration  

During the game against UPEI at the Charles V Keating Centre on Friday night, four goals from Jacob Hudson helped lead the STFX X-Men to a 5-3 win. Earlier in the week, he assisted on the overtime winner, as the X-Men beat Dalhousie 4-3. Hudson's four goals were good enough to earn him the first star of the game. He now has 12 goals in the season and is tied for third place for the most goals of all U SPORTS.
