Brock’s Vargas and Laplante Brady of Queen’s named U SPORTS wrestlers of the week
The Brock Badgers held on to their top spot in this week’s U SPORTS men’s wrestling Top 10. Brock picked up 62 points in this week’s poll, five ahead of second-ranked Alberta.
No. 3 Saskatchewan and No. 5 Concordia were the biggest movers after conference championship week, as both moved up two places. Meanwhile, the Calgary Dinos held steady at No. 4.
Western slipped three spots to No. 6, while McMaster fell one place to No. 7. Lakehead held steady at No. 8, while UNB entered the list at No. 9, and Guelph finished down one spot to No. 10.
The Alberta Golden Bears will host the U SPORTS wrestling championships in Edmonton from February 24-25.
